How to change default printer scale setting?

Recently, when printing in most applications (Quicken, Adobe, Word, etc.) the default setting for "scale" is coming up as 55% rather than 100%. So, each time I print, I have to go into Page Setup and change it back to 100. There must be a way to change the default value, but I sure can't find it. Any suggestions?

Running OS 10.3.9 on a G4 to an Epson 5200 3-in-1.

Thanks,

Rick

I think you're almost there. Go back into the Page Setup dialogue box and set all settings as you would want them to appear (Format, Paper Size, Orientation, Scale). Do not click "OK" just yet. Pull down the Settings menu, and select "Save as Default". This should reset your default Page Setup settings to be as you would want them to appear for each document. Hopefully, this will keep your percentage from reverting to 55% each time.
