iOS 9.3 Update

HI. my pad 2 can't activate after the update. I have tried suggestions about using iTunes but neither my MacBook or my windows it's will recognise the iPad.

obviously they have done another update to correct but how can you use this fix, if you can't even open the iPad? It just stays stuck "trying to activate" . Any suggestions please?

I fix it

1. DFU mode

2. connect itunes

3. restore ipad

Tried the DFU restore and still no luck with my gen 2 ipad. Have been trying for 24 hours but looks like I'll have to make an appointment. 2 days out on appointments at the genius bar, so must be quite a few issues.

I do not have iTUnes on my IBM ThinkPad (Lenovo) so how do I get the iPad2 to come back online - do you have a suggestion? I am still getting the "server overload" response from apple. Thank you for any suggestions.

I have connected to iTunes on my MAC by cable, (is this DFU Mode), however iTunes fails to recognize my iPad although it displays the iPad name??? I have been trying to connect to the "server" for two days, even tried another wifi connection, no good? My iPhone 5 & 6 updated with no problem, that is why I went ahead with my iPad.

I strongly disagree that server overload is the cause of this problem. I have had several chats with apple and they offer me no solution as of yet. They just say that the engineers are working on it.

This is a disaster. I have been without iPad for 3 days now. No solution in site. I have tried everything I have seen suggested. Still not joy! I have probably retried the verification step over 50 times in the last 3 days, with hope that it is merely a server load issue.

Upgrade does not work through iTunes either. When I plug the iPad in it just says iTunes cannot verify, take your iPad to an Apple Store. Not very practical.

Well I got it! I had to connect to iTunes on my mac and do a restore. BUT, i did not use the backup I had. I started out as a new device and added from there. I had so much on the device that it bog down to the point that nothing was working, no wi-fi, no iCloud. Everything is perfect now!

I have even the same problem, the iPod is connected with the internet, but the update cannot be installed because there is no internet-connection, but it is...where is the bug and how it can be fixed?

APPLE SUPPORT *****! I spent all day yesterday trying to recover from apples latest update! I had to lose all my content and start all over to turn my brick back into something I can use. I'm thinking its time to phase APPLE OUT OF MY LIFE!
