iOS 9.3 Update

Just installed the iOS 9.3 on iPad and iPhone. No problem at all with iPhone, however the activation process on the iPad is not working.

After introducing the Apple ID and password there is a message "Cannot activate because the activation server is temporarily not available"

Do you guys have any recommendations to follow?

There seems to be rash of these Activation Required errors and seem to be affecting, mostly, iPad 2 models.

I have an iPad 2, but currently, it is unaffected by this issue.

It, also, seems this Activation Server Required error is affecting some other older iDevices, as well.

So, clearly, this bug/glitch/error/issue hasn't affected every single older iDevice still in existence and still running.

Hopefully, Apple is aware of this issue.

This could be just a computer/server glitch/issue.

Computers CAN have issues.

No one, maybe not even Apple, may be aware of what is really going on!

This issue seems to have all started over this weekend.

OR

Apple is doing some work on their servers that maybe leaving them temporarily down and unavailable/inaccessible.

Perhaps preparing some stuff for this coming Tuesday's special event, maybe?

No one, but Apple may know what is going on.

Just to make sure they are aware, make Apple aware and submit feedback here.

I will describe what I did last night and see if it works for you

Ok, I updated for iOS 9.3 an iPhone 4s with no problem at all and an iPad 4. Here is where the problem began

After downloading the software and installed I reached the point where the screen says Hello

On the Windows 10 PC opened the newest iTunes and connected the iPad

A square icon appeared on the left upper side of the screen

Gave a click on this icon and identified the iPad immediately, prompting for my Apple user and password

After typing this info, turned my eyes into the iPad and bingo, the screen appeared ready to use

End of the story

Hope this can be of any help to all users with the same glitch

I have had a problem with my Ipad 2 and this 9.03 upgrade. I set up the upgrade to run overnight and when I came down the following morning stuck on activating ipad I went to the Apple shop with my Ipad 2 and they done a DFU restore but when I got it home while upgrading my apps the ipad suddenly restarted and went into checking the server to activate the ipad 2 and got stuck at this point again. I redone the DFU restore, after finding out how to do this, and everything went fine and the Ipad was fine, went online and purchased an app, no problem and then at the same point when I went to apply updates to my existing apps...BANG! the same thing happened again. Once again I am stuck would someone please help in coming up with an solution to this problem
