I can't activate my Ipad after upgrading to iOS 9.3

The Ipad won't activate. It says that the activation server is down , but I see a green OK next to the activation server in Apple's status page.

My Itunes (latest version) won't recognise my Ipad .

I have tried hard reset, and I have also tried using Wi-Fi and LTE.

It doesn't work at all.

I finally got the 9.3 loaded to my MacBook Pro, but had to go to iCloud.com to remove my iPad2 from the "find my device" list in order for RESTORE to begin. The iPad acts like its going through a complete restore (with the Apple logo and progress bar beneath) but only time will tell if the RESTORE solves the issue. :::::keeping fingers crossed::::::

If this can help: I have solved this with 2 steps:

1) unlink your iPad from iCloud (as explained in posts above

2) connect to iTunes through a computer.

3) shut iPad down (home + on/off) kept pressed until you see the Apple logo and keep it presed until you see the ''connected to iTunes''

4) proceed (from your computer) to ''Update and Recovery''

Be aware though that you will be left with a new iPad - now with iOS 9.3 and need ensure you have things backed up somewhere (iCloud or else). You will at the end of process be able to reconnect it on iCloud.

Still have to find a few things, but iPad is no longer a brick 🙂

Uh...

I don't believe I was addressing you and other users here had very good experince and results with having Apple Store personnel resssurrect older iPad models that were either dead or fubared to the point that the user couldn't recover their iPads without Apple's help.

If your experience with your local Apple Store was different, contact Apple at 1-800-MYAPPLE, ask for customer service and calmy tell them about the poor service you received from your Apple Store location.

Older iPads are STILL supported on the current iOS, issues aside.

My iPad 2 and 3 models are performing great on the last iOS 9.2.1.

Apple has been having continung issues with the latest iOS 9.3 updates.

If you feel you got treated poorly at your local Apple Store, contact Apple at the phone number I have gven you and calmly explain how you felt you were treated with the Apple Genius employees about how they weren't able to help you with your iPad issues.

Good Luck!

I can't activate my Ipad after upgrading to iOS 9.3
