I can't activate my Ipad after upgrading to iOS 9.3

The Ipad won't activate. It says that the activation server is down , but I see a green OK next to the activation server in Apple's status page.

My Itunes (latest version) won't recognise my Ipad .

I have tried hard reset, and I have also tried using Wi-Fi and LTE.

It doesn't work at all.

Thanks SO MUCH for this solution! I was tearing my hair out trying to get itunes to recognise my iPad until I read your entry. My iPad is now up and running again. Thanks again!!
