new IOS 9.3 battery drains!!! please fix it

same Issue here with iPhone 6S Plus ( 7 days old iPhone). before I used Beta iOS 9.3 it was fine but now... its draining around 3-4% even when iphone is not on or used and ALL the BATTERY SAVING tips I have done.
Does anyone have help? Is it a common bug?
How do you downgrade? I encountered the same problem when my phone suddenly dies even with 50% battery
You can check to see what apps are draining your battery by accessing the "Battery" section in the "Settings" app. It will show you a list of the apps that are using the most battery power by percentage over the last 24 hours as well as over the last seven days. As with any new OS release, you should also make sure your apps are up to date. A poorly coded app or one that is not configured correctly can cause excessive battery usage. Most cases that people are reporting are not a fault of the OS, but more likely a fault with an app. One of the worst on iOS is the Facebook app. Heck, the Facebook app takes more power then all of my other apps combined. And that's with two push mail accounts and the Outlook app for my MSN account running in the background.
I would check this if I where you. I would also check network connectivity. If the device is trying to maintain a poor connection, this can cause excessive battery drain as well. You might need to use the "Reset Network Settings" option to force a reload of the network settings for your carrier as well as re-establishing any relationships your device has with Wi-Fi networks.
As a last resort, I would suggest a complete wipe of your device. First make sure you have a complete backup of your device. Then use the "Erase All Content and Settings" option. Activate your device and see if it works normally.. If it does, then do it again and this time restore your backup. If the problem comes back, then you most likely have a misbehaving application.
All you need to do is search on you tube.... get the ipsw file and follow the directions... make sure the phone is backed up in itunes...... here is one....
Everyone keeps saying check the apps to see how much battery they use check this check that. IT'S NOT THE APPS ITS THE UPDATE! I have had iphones since the 4S and I now have the 6S and I have NEVER had a battery issue until I updated to 9.3 the other day. I updated and it was fun for like a day and then all of a sudden I did a hard reset to the phone to refresh it and the battery was not as good as it was. I would be at 100% and within half hr (the time it takes me to get home) my phone would normally be at 95-91 at most, after the update I would go from 100%-83% with minimal usage. I walked to the gym last night literally live 10min walk from gym, left at 91% got there at 79% and I wasn't even doing anything.
Don't say turn this off or turn that off because I tried all that. People think I am nuts but im not its the update. Apple is actually aware of this and is trying to figure out a way to fix it. They need to figure it out soon or else there is going to be issues. I like my otterbox defender and I don't want to have to invest in a case that charges the phone automatically, as those are not as durable.
So it is the update. I spoke to other people who are having the EXACT same issue, they have done everything they were told and the battery life still drained!

made DFU reinstall iOS 9.3, no special apps no backup etc.
battery usually was after 30-60min LTE usage between 90% now its like 70-75%, huge increase in loosing energy and I don't know why (iPhone 6S+)
the IOS 9.3BETA DID NOT HAVE this problem.
hope Apple will bring asap a fix for that...
None of these ideas will fix your problem. I have the exact same issue with (6) iOS9.3. battery life went from 30 hours to 6. Tried all of those things mentioned along with a full phone update via my work tech center. Same issue. In addition, I can only find a few power cords that will charge the phone., My brand new apple charger and cord won't work anymore and the error shows they're unauthorized cords. Seriously Apple, this is BS. Please put out 9.3.1!
EXACTLY!!!!! Apple refuses to admit that the latest update to 9.3 is what is causing the batter issue of it draining faster than it did. I was on a chat with someone this morning and who insisted that it was facebook that was causing the issue, and I told them no its not my apps it's the update because my phone never had this issue with any of the other updates. I have had Iphones since the 4S. He kept saying it wasn't an issue on their end and that my battery was fine but its not. It is an issue on their end and apple should be trying to find a way to fix it for free!
So far from what I heard apple is only addressing the safari issue that some users are having after updating to 9.3, and also the bricking issue. They have yet to admit there is an issue with 9.3 causing batteries to drain faster.
I have proof its not facebook. When my tech center and restored my phone, facebook app would not load. (another issue), but battery life is still horrible. I have not used my phone all morning and the battery life is less than 50% after 4 hours, where it normally lasted 2 days. Its incredibly frustrating.
Yep I told them that too that it was not a facebook issue. My facebook used just as much battery before the update and didn't cause this issue. Its definatly the update. They want me to backup my phone on itunes and do a reset all settings on it.
i have seen posts that say to back-up, wipe the phone and then update. I haven't tried it yet but I've seen several posts that say it does
I have tried that, did not work either.
I charged my phone yesterday in the evening. Unplugged the charger, went to bed, this morning the battery level dropped to 70% already (in 6 hours of absolutely no usage). The strange thing is that when I check the battery usage in the settings page, it show that I've used my phone for 5 hours (with 6 hours of standby time).
You have to go thru ALL settings with a fine tooth comb and disable all you don't need. Some may have been enabled by the update. Most egregious: FaceTime, iMessage, Background App Refresh and Location Services for all apps.
After the review, my iPhone 6+ on full standby (just turned on with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Location Services for system services, but not touched at all) drained just 18% after 50 hours.
Same here. I had 8.4.1 and update to iOS 9.3. Battery was good (now I know that) but I thought that it could be better. So I restore and set first from iCloud than at second time set as new. Every time I had an issue with downloading music from iCloud. this process also drains battery. From 46% to 10% in 5 minutes. And also crash every time. Crazy. Yesterday I made simple sync music with iPhone and than download some songs. I thought that everything is correct. But after night I saw that battery lost 6%. Not much I think. But than i 2 hours with background refreshing turn off and locations services I lost another 20%. Wow. In 2 hours and I didn't even use my phone. Sometimes it can stuck like on 90% and then on 73% for more minutes. I went to Apple service and they are changing my battery. Even if it is (I hope it is) only soft problem I will have new battery. Also on diagnosist test I have 4 application which are crashed. One of them is Music. Maybe this drains my battery but how. Only what I want is a normal phone which can be use for one day. Nothing more. But for Apple it is sometimes too much.
