can the print preview window be made larger

I have used iPages on my 2008 MacBook Pro for years--now after upgrading to Yosemite--10.10.5--I guess it's just "Pages". (My processor is 2.4 GHz Intel Core2 Duo; Memory is 6GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM) Anyway, I have always wondered if the print preview window could be made larger. It's usually fine, but sometimes it would really be helpful to be able to see it better, so larger would certainly help! Thanks so much!

It never was iPages.

It never said so anywhere on the software packaging, on the About this software, on any Apple promotion, on any review, or on this forum.

How you have used iPages on your 2008 Macbook Pro for years is a mystery.

The Print dialog can't be resized nor the preview with it, but the page itself and the Thumbnails can be (by dragging out the thumbnail panel wider), and both show the layout better than the Print Preview.

Hi, Peter - thank you for your time and response. I'm sorry to be confused about my Pages program, but it seems to me that originally it was called iPages within iWorks in my Applications folder. Of course, I am 70 and get confused about a lot of stuff!

In any event, I did a Control Print to try to do what you say above, but don't see how I can drag out the panel wider. (I know how to drag out something I'm working on to make it wider). Anyway, I'm actually working in Excel right now (income tax spread sheets) and that's what prompted the question after all these years of wondering. When I hit Control Print, the little window showing what the print project is is just very small.

Thanks again.
