Apple Mail-TWC Roadrunner

Anyone experiencing timeouts or security issues on their Apple Mail program?

This happened overnight.

I've also got GoDaddy issues that have not been resolved for weeks. I've had both TWC and GoDaddy walk me through their protocols to no avail. CHecking port ID's, SSL and all the general horsesh*t in preferences.

Everything logs in on the Chrome Browser.

Both are blaming The Apple Corp.

Let me know what you find. I'm a bit frustrated with all of this.

Hi pkeenan,

Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

It looks like you're not able to connect to a few email accounts on your Mac. Do you have an iCloud account that's set up in Mail (or one you can add) in order to test that the application itself is working?

Checking all the settings with TWC and GoDaddy was a good step. I can understand that it'd be frustrating to not have a resolution after making sure your accounts are set up correctly.

Next, I'd recommend creating a new user account on your Mac to see if you're able to connect to TWC/GoDaddy in a new environment. You can follow the guide at How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac.

Thanks for the suggestion Jeremy_v. Tried your suggestion to no avail. I seem to think that it's an SSL or port type of problem. The odd thing is I can access both accounts via my iOS (iPhone) without issue. It's definitley something that The Apple Corp has changed up and either TWC or GoDaddy are not keeping up or The Apple Corp are not sharing.

If I stumble upon a solution I will share it here, warts and all. Thanks again.
