How to know if Mackeeper is on my mac?

So I was on a tv-show streaming website (I know not the smartest thing to do). I've used this website for years without problems. So I started watching this show and I enlarged the player and my computer froze. I couldn't move my mouse but I forced quit Safari and that was fine.

Then when I opened my safari all my previous webpages were open and a page about Mackeeper. I don't remember exactly what I clicked but I came on the page that thanked my for downloading and to

But now I'm not sure if it has downloaded on my computer? My downloads don't show anything, does this mean nothing downloaded? I also didn't see anything that indicated that something was downloaded (because usually this thing moves around the screen into the download corner) Does this mean I'm safe?
