after updating to iOS 9.3 the links in Safari and Mail do not work

After updating to iOS 9.3 the links and Safari do not work. Overtime i search in google the results list shows but all the links do not work and Safari gets stuck. Same thing in Mail. So in Safari i should type the exact address to see that particular website or link

iPad seems to be working just fine. Setting for Safari have JavaScript enabled on my iPad Pro running 9.3.

Both of my 6s' have the same issue with links. Safari locks up and I have to force quit the app. Chrome also has the same issue.a I downloaded the Google App from the AppStore, that browser works just fine with the links.

Hopefully we can see a fix soon.

So I spend 5 hours with Apple support to try and resolve. They asked me restart, reset and restore my phone and the only thing that worked after all that was Safari. Links from other app still don't work. The theory given to me was that since I updated to 9.3 by wifi it might be an issue, so for the restore I did while connected to my laptop. Long story short, Apple support is going to check with their engineers and revert to me by end of day. I will keep folks posted. I have an iphone 6s+ and so does my spouse and we both are facing the same issue.

Terrible! Looks like everybody in Apple is focusing in Marketing. 16G -> 64G, $100 ????? and make this terrible error (now my ipad mini 4 and iphone 6 is useless, luckily i have not done to all my apple devices). I have many many apple devices, iphone, ipad, apple tv, macbook pros and now is the time I should seriously think about getting out of this apple gadget world.

cannot use iPhone 6 safari, mail or number of apps - terrible experience and basic testing mess up from Apple - javascript option does not work for me - need a bug fix!!

it might just be me - but seem to have issues with most if not all iOS updates - maybe apple should also provide a 'restore to previous iOS' option when they do these updates so at least you can return to something that works!!!!

hugely frustrating.........

Me too. Fixed Safari by disabling Java, but Mail still freezing.

Other web chat suggests removing any apps using extensions, but I am reluctant to do so because that is a lot of what I use my iPad Air 2 for.

This is a HUGE ****-up by Apple, my iPad became pretty much useless after the 9.3 upgrade. Not least, because I couldn't use Safari to find a solution! They need to sort out a fix soon or face a massive loss of consumer confidence.

It's a disgrace. Apple have clearly not tested the release as a blind donkey would notice that links don't work if they paid even the slightest attention. This is on an iphone 6 so not an older device. Why should I turn off javascript just to get a phone that works (although this fix does not actually work). I'm also not wasting hours of my time looking for a genius. Why do apple not release information on this issue when the internet contains a lot of news on the subject!

I have the same problems as everyone else, but I haven't yet updated to 9.3...!! My phone didn't even tell me (and still isn't showing) that there is even an update abailable unless I open the updates tab. Links in mail and safari freeze the app and lnks in chrome will only open in new window if I hold do the link for severs seconds. Many other apps are just closing down or freezing whenever they want. My smartphone (6) is not so smart...
