iMac receiving error every 60 seconds

Since I applied the latest patch to my iMac I am receiving this error in the console log roughly every 60 seconds. Can someone help me understand what process this is trying to execute.

3/25/16 5:03:06.333 PM com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: (com.apple.xpc.launchd.domain.system) Session adoption is only allowed in user domains.

3/25/16 5:03:06.335 PM nohup[89722]: Could not adopt Background session: 125: Domain does not support specified action

The PID changes every time.

3/25/16 5:03:06.342 PM nohup[89723]: Could not adopt Background session: 125: Domain does not support specified action

Any steps I can take to troubleshoot this?

Hello Jim,

I started seeing this message when I created a LaunchDaemon for two shell scripts I need to have running on one of my Mac servers. Recent versions of Mac OS X apparently have added some sophistication to their security. While my LaunchDaemon will execute my first shell script (my "meta" script, if you will), the other script I run from that meta script is being blocked. And then I see the same error message you're seeing.

I believe you probably have a plist installed in either /Library/LaunchDaemons/, /Library/LaunchAgents/ or ~/Library/LaunchAgents/, probably by a third party, that is trying to execute a script or other executable that is installed somewhere that Mac OS X doesn't like. It's most likely not nefarious - maybe it's just from a bygone era.

I might start by removing anything not called "com.apple.*" in any of the aforementioned directories and restarting your Mac. Add them back in until you find that the message has returned. Whatever that is, it will have the company name in it, perhaps cluing you in to what either needs to be upgraded or uninstalled.
