How much memory do TV shows take up on my laptop?

I'm nearing the end of the semester of my first year of college and I want to celebrate by having a Game of Thrones marathon when I'm done. I want to buy all 5 seasons from iTunes and download them onto my laptop, but I know that movies and TV shows can take up a lot of memory. How much memory do you think 5 seasons will take up? Would my laptop be able to handle all of that memory? What other options do I have? My laptop already holds a lot of photos and songs and everything else so I don't know if there would be room for that many seasons of a show.

Each episode will be something like 500 MB or more in size, I guess. There's something like 10 or so episodes per series. So you can expect to need at least 25 GB storage to keep up with the exploits of the "Half man". Maybe more. To see how much free space you have, go to the Apple Menu, About this Mac, Storage. It is not good to fill your disk up all the way since the OS uses some disk space for its operation.
