Audio out of sync On YouTube Apple TV 4th

I also have this issue. It happened after a recent Apple TV update. I forget which update now. I think two updates ago (as of 4/16/2016). I also have audio sync problems when AirPlay Mirror streaming to my 4th Gen Apple TV (also beginning after that update). Such a pain.

Delete the YouTube app then reinstall the YouTube app....

Matlu - airplay sync issues are not related to this issue so would recommend you start your own thread or find a thread that is related to AirPlay issues...

I did that and after about a day, the same issue was back again. I see that there are quite a few people complaining about the same thing on other forums. Anyone have a long term solution as its completely useless this way.

Try force quitting the app and re-opening it. That may fix it for a while. You might check for this in the YouTube forums, since it could be a problem with their implementation. That is the case with the similar video stuttering problem where the video seems to jump from frame to frame while the audio plays smoothly. YouTube say they're working on that one. I think these are problems with the ATV YouTube app, so we need to wait for an update from them, not Apple. tvOS 9.2 may have changed the rules and it's taking some time for developers to catch up. We're out there on the edge of the wave; fun but a little scary.

I have same problem, and the same on DRtv app.

It came with the latest update. I have to close those aps every day to avoid sound and picture lag.

I Have had this problem with ATV4 on various apps and playing through different devices.

Any proper solutions? Pretty fundamental issue for a supposedly high end AV player!
