I disabled Finder entirely on my Macbook Pro currently running Snow Leopard due to factory reset...working on updating. But I disabled Finder with a terminal command and now I would LOVE to have it back... it was a complete accident and I can't find the solution anywhere. ANY HELP?!?!

What terminal command did you use to disable the Finder?
sudo mv /System?Library/CoreServices/Finder.app /Applications/ killall Finder
Have you tried to Reinstall your OS X. It should leave all your data intact.
You should make a backup first, just in case.

I know how to reinstall, it just seems like there should be a quicker solution than that...again. I just reinstalled everything and would rather avoid that at all costs.
Nevermind! I was finally able to find it... for anyone who is having this issue after using the same command I did..
sudo mv /Applications/Finder.app /System/Library/Coreservices/ and of course hit the return key. 🙂
