Stop Numbers from zooming out

Trying out Numbers vs Excel. Couple questions.

It annoyingly keeps zooming out to 39%. How can I stop that? One wrong move and I can't read squat.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

OK Uncheck the box "Smart Zoom" in "system preferences > Trackpad > Scroll & Zoom" which interestingly enough is described as "Double-tap with two fingers":

also uncheck "Smart Zoom" in "system preferences > Mouse > Point & Click":

That's strange SGIII, the zoom works fine in Chrome, Safari, and most other apps. I double touch and it zooms in, then double touch and it zooms back out.

In Numbers 3.6.1 or Firefox 45.0.1, it only zooms way out, so i can't read it, and It does NOT zoom back out after I double touch again in Numbers or Safari. Those are the only programs that do not zoom back out.

I am running 10.11.4 on a iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014). Am I the only one having this issue?

Wayne, I don't want to turn it off, I like it. I am just trying to find out why Numbers and Firefox only zoom way out and does the opposite of what its suppose to do, zoom in...

I am running 10.11.4 and that feature is gone. All i have is Smart Zoom, double tap to enlarge.

But my issue is with it zooming WAY out. And now it is doing it in Firefox and no matter what I do, I have to do Control + to zoom back.

Quite annoying Apple!

Anyone else can you help on why doing this? I know Apple does not make Firefox. Double tap zoom works fine in Safari & Chrome.
