Most hyperlinks don't work on iPhone and iPad

About a week ago I noticed that most hyperlinks, like search engine results, stopped working on my iPhone. I tried using my iPad instead and had the same problem. I thought maybe it was my ISP, but my Windows laptop is working fine. I had just downloaded an App (booking.com), so I deleted it, as well as other recently installed apps. I tried clearing my browser history and clearing data (not even sure what that means). I thought maybe I was a Safari problem, so I installed another browser, but that did not help. Now it is not just search engine results, I tried buying auto insurance last night when I bought a car, but I had to borrow a PC to get it done. My faithful Apple devises and better as paperweights at this point.

Hello snowandsun59,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

From your question, I understand that hyperlinks are not behaving as expected after updating to iOS 9.3. We know how frustrating situations like this can be and we want to make sure your devices are working as expected.

iOS 9.3.1 was recently released. Performing this update should resolve this situation.

There is an issue with links in iOS 9.3 and Apple is working on a fix. A new version of the iOS should be available soon. This article summarizes some of the problems with the current version. Disabling Javascript in Safari helps but this sacrifices functionality with the web browser. Downloading a different browser like Opera has helped others (not Chrome as it behaves the same as Safari). I recommend waiting for the fix.

Booking.com has been a disaster (not the only one) and once it is downloaded, deleting it does not clean its cache. That is part of the problem Apple faces in developing the fix.
