iPhone se Bluetooth volume

I had the exact same issue. After having called the support i completely renewed my iPhone via iTunes and configured it as new.

A test call from the car was fine so maybe this helps you, too. Although i don't know whether my issue is cured completely after just one test call....

I am having the same issue,it is not just using in a car, it is also in bluetooth headset during a call, music is flawless but call is horrible.

Add me to the list for all the reasons above,identical....my car & headset.I tested with my other phone, a Samsung and all was good so it IS the SE not the Bluetooth or service or anything else. Both were excellent using my old iphone 4. Returning to mt ATT shop on Wednesday for answers or I`ll get a refund. LOVE the phone otherwise but this is a deal breaker as I need my Bluetooth connection to be clear and the SE is anything but...like Zeroaxs says its like the speaker is "overdriven".

And after Restoring it as a new iPhone in iTunes it still does this?

It is still the same after I restored, as new and tried every other option out there. I exchanged the first SE due to same issue and the second one is exactly the same. I am thinking it must be a bug within the bluetooth chip or driver itself.

Its the same kind of sound as when you turn up the iPhone music too high when it's connected to an amplified speak

To me this first happened after update to 9.3.1. When i bought it (v9.3) everything was fine.... As said above restoring it as new seems to have fixed it, although this was just one test as i am using the phone for work...

IM having the same issue. Does apple respond to these posts? This is a deal breaker for me. This needs to get fixed. I use my Bluetooth all day every day.

I have the same issue, met one of the Apple technician and they acknowledge the problem. Asked me to wait it out for a week and check for an update roll out if they have many reporting the same issues.

I gave up. Exchanged for iPhone 6s after all...... really sad to let it go though....

I had a Genius Bar appointment yesterday to try to work out the distorted phone audio Bluetooth bug on my 64 GB SEi. They were slammed. I was hoping that they could do a restore back to 9.3 or have a 9.3 SE service swap available to compare Bluetooth performance. (Unfortunately, I upgraded to 9.3.1 through iTunes right out of the box.)

While I was standing around, one of the floor associates noticed I was holding an SE box. He did some quick work with his handheld device. He determined that no matter what they did yesterday that it would be three weeks to replace the SE. I'm partial to the black bezel/front and Space Grey was not in inventory anywhere in either 16 or 64.

I know it sounds trivial because audio quality is excellent through the earbuds, but not being able to use Bluetooth for headsets or in the car is a deal breaker He offered a refund and I took it. I'll try again when I hear the issue is solved. I really like the design and form factor of the SE.

IM HAVING SAME PROBLEM!!!!! The other person's voice is scratchy! EVERYTIME I call Apple they blame my car, but I did not have the problem with my iPhone5 last week. I'm going to wait it out and hope an upgrade comes out for this bug! AGGRAVATING bc all I use is my bluetooth. Gosh I hope apple reads these posts!
