Can't record voicemail greeting

When I go to record/change my greeting, it won't let me. The buttons are blue (implying I can touch them), but are unresponsive. When I try to at least change it back to the default greeting, it won't allow that either. The only button that works on that screen is "Cancel", in the top left corner, taking you back to the main Voicemail screen.User uploaded file

Hi estelle_miller,

If you are unable to record or change your voicemail message on your iPhone, try the following steps:

  1. Restart your iPhone.
  2. Check for a carrier settings update.
  3. Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS - which is 9.3.1.
  4. Make sure that your voicemail is set up. You can check this by dialing your phone number from your iPhone.
  5. Make sure that you have a good cellular network connection. You can check this by trying to make an outgoing call.
  6. Reset your network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  7. Contact your carrier and make sure that you have the voicemail feature on your plan.
