Please fix ios 9.3.1 battery drain problem, earlier I was on 8.4.1 and battery life was excellent but after updating to ios 9.3.1 battery life got worse on my iphone 6. Apple company please release an update to fix it

I have 9.3.2 update, and since updating my battery is draining and slow to recharge. I downloaded battery life app and it says battery is good. I've done a hard reset, closed out all apps that cause issues. NEVER have I had this problem. Mine is a IPhone 6 plus

I realized that 64% of my battery usage was being used by Facebook, which I was only using for a couple of minutes a day. I went to Settings, Facebook, Settings, and unchecked the Background App Refresh. It seems to have helped quite a bit. Facebook takes longer to load, but that's not much of an issue.

Yup, FaceBook (and FB Messager) are notorious battery hogs.

I am having the same issue. My battery on my iPhone 6 drains wickedly fast now. What can we do?

I have bad news for everyone:

There is ONE cause of battery drain. . the phone is using power. Period.

So unless you live in a cave and haven't noticed that everyone is spying on you all of the time then try to realize that when your phone is warm and the battery is draining that is because the phone is doing something, like transferring all of your data. . .or listening to your conversation. . .pinging other phones in the area. . . etc. etc.

"Gee. . .what a mystery. . .my phone is warm like I'm using it a lot and the battery is draining. . . what could that be?

And what spyware is it possible to install on an iPhone that has not been jailbroken?

Your phone is doing perfectly normal things like transferring data, listing for "Hey, Siri", pinging the cellular network, receiving notifications.

Dear Apple,

I have iphone 5, iphone 5s, iphone 6 and iphone 6s plus.

My iphone 5 and 5s battery are still healthy and work better than iphone 6.

i used beta public version of ios 10, after few months found battery draining very fast, i restored back to 9.3.5. switched off back ground refresh, switched off location service, icloud is off, display is dim., have limited apps.

but still battery draining very fast and at between 35% to 25% it shuts suddenly (crashing) and swithes off.

AND DO NOT START UNTILL CONNECTED TO CHARGER.

when connected to charger it agian shows battery percentage at which it switched off. it happens many times, but between 35% to 25% of battery.

i would say if not software than battery of iphone 6 is very very bad. In less than two years its condition is so bad.

this is certainly not in line with earlier iphone models.

i given a direct feedback too but in vain.

No matter what folks from Apple say, the battery life after the update is much worse. I have turned off all notifications, put it on low battery, close apps unless I'm using them, and my battery drains in about 3 hours. It's not you and rouge apps, there IS a battery problem. I attribute it to laugh of iPhone7.

Followed Lawrence Finch suggestions worked wonders for Battery % went up when I applied his methods and turned battery % off now.
