Why can't Apple just fix the battery issue or software issue so we can have a phone that works. Technology is only

valuable for the Time it saves us, and right now this technology stinks! I've spent more time and energy trying to resolve this than if I had just thrown the phone in the garbage. So either the battery is bad, the software is defective, or we have been hacked by the Russians. Take your choice but Apple you have robbed me blind and stolen my trust.

The single so called "solution" is to restore the phone with itunes and set as new. But in some cases draining dramatically begin again in few days/weeks. So, is the revolutionary ios to blame and not the battery. Starting wit ios 9 iphones become just a piece of junk because of ios. Inacceptable, bye Apple.

You can't. And there's no reason to, because the problem is not the iOS version. It's some app that did not adapt well to the update. As has been the case for a few phones after every update for the past 8 1/2 years. There is ample information about how to resolve the problem. I have had my ipad 2 replaced, spent over 20 hours on the phone with either AT&T and Apple and still have no resolution, they have replaced the SIM card twice and still no results. AT&T has replaced several devices and it's an APPLE software problem and they're denying it. There were several people in the store at 4860 Bethesda Avenue last night spending money on a software issue, my ipad registers with ver. 8.4, however 9.3.1 needs a bug fix fast, I can't connect to my mobile plan, WIFI moves super slow. I have reconfigured this old ipad 3 times and the new ipad 2 twice, still no results.

At the Apple store, the reps are rude, arrogant, do not have enough technical support to provide hands on assistance, they can't fix these ipad due to the clue used during manufacturing, no it has to be junked or you spend case replacing something that's a software issue. I'e been called a liar by their Apple Care Reps.

I will not spend one more dime of my cash on apple products, I've worked as a recruiter for years and plan on sharing my experience with my federal clients so that the federal customers don't spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on devices that are not professionally supported and they force you to do updates that do not work.

That is because you don't read these forums. It has been reported over and over every time a new release comes out someone says they have battery drain with the new version. It isn't the new version at all. Go back and look at the links Lawrence Finch posted and fix your problem instead of complaining about it here. It has never been a problem with iOS. It usually almost all the time an app that didn't like the new update.

Sorry, but you are wrong. With no changes in Apps, my battery started draining significantly faster on my iPhone 6+ the minute I upgraded to the lasted IOS. That was the only change made.

Yes, it's probably an app that doesn't work properly under the new update. Review the links Lawrence posted.

I had exactly the same problem as Gurpreet nayyar and I had follow Lawrence's links, it doesn't work at all.

My battery life on airplane mode at 12 midnight (100%) and it drained to 60% at 6 am (which it doesn't happen before updated to IOS9.3.1)
