Why can't Apple just fix the battery issue or software issue so we can have a phone that works. Technology is only

valuable for the Time it saves us, and right now this technology stinks! I've spent more time and energy trying to resolve this than if I had just thrown the phone in the garbage. So either the battery is bad, the software is defective, or we have been hacked by the Russians. Take your choice but Apple you have robbed me blind and stolen my trust.

It is not a bad battery. I too got 2 full days of normal use out of my watch until the latest software update that I did on 7/22/17. 3 days in a row my watch has died in less than 8 hours. I have modified "EVERYTHING" and still get the same outcome. So do not write on here that the "UPDATE" doesn't need fixing. It DOES!

THis update has turned my watch into a useless brick. If I can't use it at optimal use as I want and at least get 24 hours or so battery life, then it is useless to me and most everyone else.

I agree with you. My watch was getting 2 full days of battery life with normal use and not having to shut every app refresh off. If I wanted a basic watch, I have a dresser full. This last update needs tweaking. No matter all of the modifications to the settings, my battery is dead in less than 8 hours.

Those replying with all of these suggestions need to fix the update and stop writing to people as if their normal use of the watch and it's settings are the cause.

Or, there's something wrong with your watch. I'm finding I've gotten progressively better battery life with every iteration of watch OS 3. All of my thirty or so apps have background app refresh enabled. I don't know if my watch would have lasted two full days as I charge mine every night. However, I routinely have well over 50% batter left at the end of the day. I took my watch off the charge about 7 hours ago and the battery has dropped 3%.

Those of us replying with suggestions are your fellow users. We have no ability to "fix" anything. If you want to discuss the matter with Apple, use the Contact Support link at the top right of every page in the forums.

What does the battery life of an Apple Watch have to do with the subject of this year old thread, which is about battery life for an iPhone 6 running iOS 9.3.1?

If you would like help with an Apple Watch, please post a new message in the Apple Watch forum, which it may get some attention from users who can help resolve whatever issue you are having.

So there are 1 billion+ iPhone users. How many of them have reported this problem? If it was truly everything to do with the last update then I would have it on all of my devices. I have it on none of them. BTW, what version do you have? This thread is about 9.3.1.

It's also been almost 2 years since I posted the reply that you are quoting. And how many posts have there been since then in this thread? You would think that if this were a problem with the release there would be tens of thousands of responses by now.

There is nothing to fix. 9.3.1 has better battery life than 8.4.1 if your phone is working correctly. If the battery is draining faster you have an app that is misbehaving. See: http://www.overthought.org/blog/2014/the-ultimate-guide-to-solving-ios-battery-d rain
