Lower viewing angle on smart keyboard

Is there a way to fold the new smart keyboard for the iPad Pro to a lower angle for drawing? All I can see on Apples site are angles for viewing and typing. It would be a shame if, after spending this much money that I had to use something else under the iPad to prop it up to a lower angle.

No.

The smart keyboard cover only have two fixed positions.

It is due to the design of the cover and the way it folds for use.

If the two angles are too extreme for you, you WILL have to find a way to prop the iPad up at a more natural angle for drawing.

I, personally, didn't like the angles for the smart keyboard cover.

Your only other option is to return the keyboard cover, if you have had this less than 14 days, and purchase the plain ole' smart cover and purchase a separate hardware Bluetooth keyboard to use with your iPad Pro.

This is exactly what I did so I could have a cover that folded into an a lower angle for drawing.

If I need to type, I have the option of using the software keyboard when my iPad is still propped in the lower angle position for drawing or sketching OR, I can prop it up for viewing or other uses with my separate Bluetooth keyboard or with other peripherals I use with my iPad Pro.

Good Luck.
