Classic. I was sold pn Apple products being "easier" than pc's. A phone of any brand should work without jumping through piles of trchnical hoops and wasting valuable time working out backdoors to get around shoddy programming.

Purchased a great phone 17 months ago, and Now I have a product which can barely connect to wifi, has intermittent muted calls. And to maje things worse, before My mobile phone provider would even look into the issue they were spitting out "unless the product has had this as an inherent fault within the first 6 months, they don't want to know"

so basically the company I Purchased the phone ftom pretty much said my £600 device has only a 6 month guarantee unless I can pay an indipendant company to proove the fault happened in the first 6 months.

lots of us Iphone users don't even own airport etc. Just want to connect to wifi at work and home.

Having a "Smart phone" which is incapable of making calls 50% of thr time without constant hard resets and has such poor wifi issues kind of defeats the problem of having a "Smart phone".

This has left a real real bad taste in my mouth, and customer care is esential eith regards to my electrical devices. I'm sure I'm not the only one considering changing both mobile phone provider and the "brand" of my phone.

I'm personally probably going to get a free mobile phone upgrade next time and scrap using an iphone. Purchase an ipad mini instead for wifi use. Have enjoyed all of Apples Iphones so far? Never had a problem with ios updates. But this is shoddy service.

hey, only 5 months of my contract left, and I can escape.

I as well updated to 9.3.2 to no avail. So i call Apple and they checked that my wifi hardware is working properly and it is. They have no fix or answer other than it might be my Verizon DSL Modem. From now on i am not updating any software. My iPad pro connnects to WIFI with no issues. now i hear some iPad Pro users have issues with the update. I'm staying right where i am !!

I just can't believe how poor it has gotten.

I can't use WIFI or GPS. I've gone over my data limit on my mobile plan because the WIFI will only work within a 5m radius from any source, home, work, friends places... it's no coincidence.

Took my phone into Apple and they suggested the usual restart, restore settings, completely format. Haven't tried the latter as that will take a day of my time backing up and organising everything. The fact that when asked they denied ever seeing this problem with other iphone6 users. Sounds like it's a MASSIVE issue from all the threads I've read through in the last hour.

If a complete format doesn't fix my phone I don't know what to do. Questioning continuing with Apple phones after this.

Well here's the thing. Few manufacturers ever hold up their hands and admit faults. The only company I know that arguably could be said to have learned a lesson is Nikon after their debacle with one camera model that led to class action suits. Now they announce it when they've discovered a fault, but they're the exception. Look at the GM ignition key issue! That killed people but people still buy and drive GM cars.

So if you tried a droid phone and actually liked it then hopefully you'll get some use out of it before it fails (iPhone 6 has 25% Q1 faults of all iPhone, Samsung S5&6 had Q1 failure rates of 44%!!). And the Google Play store dodgy infected app doesn't kill it or steal your personal information. Yes it's frustrating but if my car breaks down I don't sit there blaming the maker, I have to get it fixed and will still drive it rather than sell it. I use an iMAC and iPad too. The seamless transition between all of them is a benefit especially when restoring or reinstalling OS's. And the music linking through iTunes (having a large music library, and it working much better these days, and Apple Music) is my driving force for sticking with Apple products. I couldn't imagine throwing a droid into that mix and as for Windows!! No thanks.

well, all this while I was waiting to see that 9.3.2 shall fix the issue however to no despair. I have 6 iphones between the 2 of us at home and 5 are working fine however my iphone 6 is acting up since the last 9.3.1 update. The wifi drops at the drop of a wink, it looses connectivity barely 5 mtrs away, suddenly it says password incorrect . Its like dont connect me to wifi as its going to bite me ... I have tried to restore everything and even tried to switch off wifi networking option however to no respite.

IF someone has an answer to this then please do help or else I believe its time that Apple fixes this.

I can't even install the 9.3.2 to try if it can repair the damage that 9.3.1 has done to my Iphone 6 because my wifi is permanently disabled. So my only remedy now is to buy a new one. Soooo frustrating. We suffer and it's not even our fault. Our phones have been affected by Apple's own updates 😟 and sadly they don't even accept the fault .

You must report it to Apple using the feedback reporting page. We have to remember that a fault like this is so difficult to diagnose. How many millions of iPhone 6's are there working just fine thanks? And if you look here there's actually only a dozen or so. My problem has cleared so why is that when other won't clear, and the majority working just fine. Is it hardware, or is it software? And why did changing a router setting work for me? Surely your phone is still under warranty? You did buy AppleCare didn't you?? Take it in and put foot down. What else can you do. It ***** but it's not unusual. Ask any Galaxy S5 or S6 owner!!

Sadly I will still be paying for my phone 6 up to January 2017 as I bought it from Carphone as an upgrade and on a monthly contract. Carphone said it's out of warranty (1 year & 4 months ) as they don't practice EU law which has a warranty of 2 years. They said go to Apple as it's their fault. Apple said go to Carphone as you bought it from them. Soo frustrating and it's wasting a lot all my time so I will just buy an Iphone 6S hoping it won't have any problems like Iphone 6. This time I won't install anymore updates from Apple.
