Stuttering stream bleutooth audio with Spotify on new IOS 9.3.1

Since a couple of days I have been experiencing some very annoying problems with audio streaming from Spotify to my bluetooth radio.

The music keeps stuttering and it gets worse when i use my iPhone at the same time, for example when i am listening to music and unlock my iPhone the music stutters. also when i do nothing at a certain point of time the music begins to stutter.

before i had no problems at all and i could do everything i wanted with my iPhone and still listen to music without stuttering!

i checked if the problem is on other music streaming apps like youtube and apple music, but it seems to stutter only on Spotify...

normally i would say it is just Spotify's fault and i will wait for a bug fix, but the strange thing is that the problems started when i got the new IOS.

i tried with my old iphone 4, with IOS 8 and that works fine..

PLEASE HELP

edit: i already searched the spotify forum and found out that more users (ios 9) have the same problem...

Did you already force restart the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

You will not lose data, but force restarting can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

To make sure that this is not software related, use iTunes to set it back to factory settings and install a new version of iOS 9.3.1

Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

If only Spotify has the problem, this might be app related and you might have to wait for an app update.

and this also didn't work, i already posted my complaint at the website of Spotify and there i found more people with the same problem since the update to the new IOS...

If you take a look at this post in the spotify forum, there seems to be a issue with the Spotify app, not supporting Bluetooth anymore, like it used to.

Just got word from a mod that Spotify doesn't support Bluetooth directly anymore, just like was stated in the support email received by y'all.

I am also having this problem, when streaming Spotify from my iPhone 6 to my car's bluetooth. It worked flawlessly until I upgraded to iOS 9.3, and my work iPhone which is still on 9.2 also works flawlessly. I am having to use a USB connection until this is fixed, which isn't as convenient.

I hope it's something that can be fixed?!

Well here I am again, I have tried for like one day with Apple Music and I get the same annoying stuttering. especially when the phone is locked and i unlock it or when i get messages. and that's when i have the sound turned of, even no vibrations.

so the problem is not with Spotify as i tought and was suggested here before, the problem is actually within the IOS update, now i'm for sure because even Apple's native music app (Apple Music) has the same problems!

So please Apple, as a overall good customer service, take a look at this issue...

PS. a friend of mine with a Samsung S6 phone tried it on my bluetooth radio and it works great, even with Spotify.

I'm on 9.3.1, newly replaced phone (6+), clean install. Music stutters on wired headphones when foreground apps are used. Extremely annoying, basically makes it impossible to listen to music and use the phone for anything else at the same time now.

This is exactly the problem i am having right now, for a couple weeks now!!!

it seems to be okay if i leave the iPhone locked, but when i get a message (even when the sound is turned off for messages and calls) the music starts stuttering. and when i unlock the phone i get the same.

can someone please make an complaint about this @ apple themselves?
