Evidently you decided to close the Terminal window at some point. One last (?) time... use these commands one at a time in sequence:
cd /usr/share/
rm -r addressBookServerEnterpriseEdition
ls -l address*
and report back.
C
Nearly there... Now these commands
cd /usr/share/
sudo rm -r addressBookServerEnterpriseEdition
ls -l
If the final command does not include addressBookServerEnterpriseEdition in its results then reboot your machine and see if we've managed to kill your annoying 'bin' process.

The 'bin' is gone.

cheeers...
You're welcome.
Incidentally, I almost decided not to help you because of your username. I suggest you ask the hosts to change it for you.

Hello C.
Thanks again for your help. I have noticed that my Avid Media Composer works now. Somehow the 'bin' app was disabling this program.
I have no idea how my username came to be... It must be a very old username and I never remember calling it ReallyHateApple, even in a flight of fancy.
As you say.. I'll ask the host to change it..
Cheers,
Declan O'Gallagher.
