Taking a Verizon iPhone to straight talk

I Have an iPhone 6s plus on Verizon right now and I am trying to take it to straight talk and use the Verizon network. But when I try to go through the registration process of my phone on straight talk it says it's not compatable with there byop service. I don't understand why it wouldn't be cause I have it paid off and the bill is up to date. It's weird because I can use it with att or the T-Mobile network through straight talk but not the Verizon part. Any suggestions?

The only time that an IMEI would be blocked from activation on a postpaid Verizon account for six months is if it was from a phone that was sold specifically for prepaid use. And the iPhone 6S+ is not sold that way. However, I don't know why Straighttalk would tell you that or what their policies are. I'd suggest calling them back and asking for an explanation.

What I do know is that a fair number of people post here with problems activating phones on StraightTalk.

Best of luck.
