APL* ITUNES.COM/BILL,866-712-7753,CA - fraud or not?

Question: Is APL* ITUNES.COM/BILL,866-712-7753,CA a legitimate address for a purchase (as it shows at PayPal)?

Now the reason for the question and the RANT:

When I saw a 99 cent charge on PayPal today from APL* ITUNES.COM/BILL,866-712-7753,CA, when I had made no purchases recently, I googled and read that address is used by scammers to charge a small amount on stolen credit cards to see if they're still active, then larger purchases are made. So I contacted PayPal and cancelled my Mastercard PayPal Debit Card, which means I will have to change all my Mastercard numbers with every online service I do business with, not to mention being without an ATM card for up to 2 weeks.

Next I went to Apple to report the fraud and get more info. Next to impossible to find any phone numbers or even contact info for fraud iTunes fraud, I finally saw a very helpful person's story and link to finding my itunes charges. Today's and a month ago's 99c charges were listed as iCloud storage fees, as well as a $3.99 app charge I made awhile back--with the same "fraudulent" address.

So now I'm not sure if the APL* ITUNES.COM/BILL,866-712-7753,CA, listed in my PayPal charges is a legit address or not.

If it is not, I'm glad I cancelled the card.

If it is legit, however, I'm furious that there was no description of what I purchased, as that would have explained the charges and I wouldn't have wasted time and effort on this matter, and especially having to deal with changing all my credit card numbers all over the place and being without an ATM card for up to 2 weeks.

Yes, it was legit: $3.99 for an app and .99 for songs.

My Apple music monthly membership is $9.99 which delivers an astounding amount of artists and songs and albums, including streaming radio. Maybe that's what your $9.99 charge is for, as well.

It would be most helpful if Apple listed the description of their charges in PayPal, wouldn't it?

So here's my story. These SAME folks ( folks tried to get me right away and put 3 separate charges all OVER $30 on the same day on my debit card. They didn't even start with the .99 tactic. Why do I know it was a scam? My iTunes account has NO history of these transactions so I know they did not hack into my iTunes account. It of course took me a week to realize this. I reported the issue to Apple to experience the BEST customer service EVER. Thank you apple for listening! Here's what the merchant ID on my debit card looked like (ITUNESCOMBILL XXXXX7753 CA)
