My wife changed my drive region on my MacBook Pro to #1 so that she could watch a movie that she bought from America. But now I want to change it back to #2 because that is where I live but I won't let me. When I try to change it I just closes DVD player and does nothing. I attached a photo of what the region changing place looks like when I try to change it.

You have indeed reached the limit of region changes the DVD drive allows at the user level. As per the spec, there is a second limit, a "service" limit that allows the count to be reset back to zero and which in turn can be repeated up to 3 times, for a grand total of 20 region changes before the thing gets permanently fixed. But that service reset is only in the purview of maintenance/service/manufacturer personnel so you'll have to scamper over to an Apple Store and hope for the best.
Once the DVD region has been changed 5 times, the DVD drive is locked permanently. Download and try using VLC to play DVDs.
