charging port replacement covered by Apple Care + ?

my iphone6 won't charge or be recognized by my computer when I plug it in. Every outlet or portable charger I try to plug it into will not charge it. I've switched cords a million times. Nothing works. So it must be the phone's charging port itself. Will Apple Care replace the charging port?

I don't want to just fully replace the phone. I have pictures and information on there that I have not backed up. So I just want the charging port replaced so I can power up the phone, connect it to the computer or sync to icloud and salvage the data.

No they will not just replace the charging connector they will replace the iPhone.

But before you get to that point get a flashlight and a magnifying glass and look at the Lightning connector. Use a toothpick and a can of compressed air (short bursts please) and clean out any dust/debris/lint/rat droppings/fuzz, etc. that you find.

So I cleared out the port to the best of my ability, but still doesn't charge.

So while I appreciate a new iphone as a replacement... I really just want the port replaced. Why? Because I have some photos and data on there that are not backed up and I want to retrieve them.

So is there an option where I can choose to just replace the port instead?
