FPFeedbackService

What is FPFeedbackService? I keep getting asked if I want to allow or deny connection to it, and it appears in the firewall settings, but I'm disnclined to allow any access to my system that I don't understand.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011), OS X El Capitan (10.11)

1. Open System Preferences and make sure your Firewall setting for FPFeedback is blocked. If not familiar with Firewall, unlock, choose Firewall Options... and make selection. Click the up-down pointer next to the title, select Blocked.

2. Close Options but leave Preferences window open.

3. Select Flash Player.

4. Click Advanced tab.

5. Find Usage Data. Should be a checkbox below title.

6. If on, uncheck box. You may be asked for password.

7. Close Preferences window.

8. Reboot (I suggest twice).

I found the first reboot was a bit slower and Creative Cloud was slow to fill in icon in menu bar and Spell Checker alerted each word as misspelled. Second reboot cleared for me.

I see that there is also a way to turn action off by using Terminal (other posts relating to this issue), but this may be a more simple process. Might start with step 3 and see if the box is checked. Uncheck and close and reboot.

Good luck.
