Is Final Cut Pro 10.2.3 compatible with Mac OSX Mavericks 10.9.5

Thinking about upgrading my Final Cut Express to Final Cut Pro, but do not want to upgrade my iMac's OSX from Mavericks. The app store says that its compatible with 10.10.4 (Yosemite), but just wondering if anybody has it? Also is the previous version of Final Cut Pro 10.1 compatible with Mavericks, and if so, how do I go about getting it, since in the app store it does not appear any more? thanks.
