How can I find my Mac book Pro model? example = A12??

I was looking for my model number back in my computer, but it gone or cannot see. I need to order a fan because it is making noise. How can I find my Mac book Pro model? example = A12??

Get yourself a magnifying glass. Or maybe a microscope.


The model number is printed on the base of the MacBook Pro in the text alongside the various standards/certifications. Unfortunately, Apple choose to print the text in 4pt font, in grey on a silver background. It's like they seriously never expect anyone to actually need to read this information.


Alternatively, plug your serial number into http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/ to get a breakdown of the model, including it's Apple model number.
