I would like to move my PDF files that I have in iBooks to the iCloud drive so that they could be accessed from other apps like "PDF Expert". Can anyone tell me if that is possible outside of emailing each PDF file to myself and then opening them in PDF Expert to then store on the iCloud Drive?

That's what I tried but nothing happening.
It is a exreem shame that apple cannot arange something as simple as this, why would they not share the pdf that i add to ibooks from the web?
Investigating on the same problem - running iOS11 and iOS10: there is no option to push a share button hence to proceed on moving files from iBooks to iCloud Drive...

With pinch spread the document and you will see share button at the top right corner 😃

This took a while to do but once I did that I saved some in iBooks actually and then put a few in iCloud Drive.
I just wish iBooks wasn’t so restricted.
