I have the same issue. I have a MacBook Pro 2016 (usb-c)

zoom.us is the correct URL. I don't even care so much about zoom but that would be great. I just need to know how to get my camcorder to recognize as a webcam.

From what I understand I need some sort of capture card but I don't know if I need that capture card to be mini-usb to usb-c or hdmi-hdmi how that works.

I don't use "zoom meeting", but if you don't get better help here, y can try this general solution:

You can connect and use any brand or model of Mac-compatible, Firewire-connected, tape-based camcorders for your webcam or direct QuickTime or iMovie recording uses. Examples like my old Sony DCR-TRV17 and DCR-TRV70 and my Canon VIXIA HV30 and Canon VIXIA HV40 all work a treat.

If you have trouble with that or need other ideas, you can help us give you more specific answers by giving more info about your system, cameras, and software. Be sure to include specifics like:

If this is NOT the Zoom you are using, give a link to the software you use.

Which specific MacBook Pro model you use?

Which specific camcorder brand and model you want to use.
