Can I take my Macbook Pro into an Apple Store to upgrade its flash storage?

I purchased a Macbook Pro with retina display a few months ago and I am realizing now that I should've purchased more flash storage. Is it possible for me to take my Macbook Pro into an Apple Store to get the flash storage upgraded to a larger capacity.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

No - Apple will not perform upgrades on computers other than to install additional memory in iMacs and Mac Pros which have user upgradeable memory. SSD upgrades, when they exist, are available only from 3rd parties and must be installed by 3rd parties or the user. Doing so can result in one’s warranty being voided.

Specific model numbers. Don't you think you should find out what they are, first? I know the SSDs are PCIe flash storage, but SSD is more understandable. Even if it is actually upgradeable, Apple doesn't do it nor will it involve Apple parts and warranty. Thus, the OP cannot take it Apple. If he/she installs it themselves, it will void the warranty left on the machine. Better to wait until the warranty has expired although even then there will be no further Apple support - installed non-Apple approved parts and installer is not Apple certified. That can only be overcome if you send it to OWC for the upgrade. Adds $99, I believe, to the cost.

The SD card is a good solution for those who have a 13” MBA or MBP. I have a 128GB SD card in my MBA on which I store mostly media files and archives. Several companies, including SanDisk made low profile SD cards that are specially made for each computer model so they sit flush in the computer - nothing sticks out. They aren’t super fast for writing data to them but quite fast for reading. That’s why I store media files on mine. Another possible solution is the 1 inch SSD drive made by Samsung. Your computer has USB 3 so it will read and write to the drive very quickly and it is small enough to conveniently carry around. In fact it might be a bit too small!
