I have the 12.9 iPad Pro with the Smart Keyboard. Overall, I am very pleased; however, I have a constant issue of the space bar double spacing. Has anyone else found this to be an issue? Is there a fix in place? Is it software driven or potentially a faulty keyboard?

I have this problem so often it is so annoying. It took me a long time to work out what I was doing as if I double space it creates a dot and then the word will not be auto corrected. I have a few of these quirks and have used the dictionary auto replace feature but it won't allow double spaces. If anyone has come across a fix please let me know:).
In all Apps? Some? One? [which one(s)?]
So far it seems to happen in all apps I've used, both in Apple apps and third party apps. Specifically, Notes and Safari are recent apps I used today with the double spacing issue being present.
With some time in this forum, there may be some that see this thread and pop in with a ready fix... that person is not me!

else, I personally would call > Contact Apple Support (I am not a fan of Chat) - I have seldom received satisfaction without elevating to higher level specialists, so be prepared to tell your story multiple times (craft an "elevator pitch" prior to calling?)

Also, this is like a doctor's office... they take you when they finish with the previous "patient", so the time is approximate
Hi Kiwineilt. You can adjust some of these features in the Hardware Keyboard settings, Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard. They only appear when the keyboard is connected.
