connect ipod2 to itunes
i locked myself out of my
ipod2 and it says to connect to iTunes and I don't have iTunes downloaded anywhere

Is the "iPod2" a 2nd gen iPod touch? If so, this document describes possible actions
However, if the iPod touch is the older 2nd gen model, you'll need to connect it to a computer running iTunes. If the iPod is not an iPod touch, please post back with more details.
