Help with icloud and emails lost !

Hi,

My icloud was full a few days ago when I tried to load my mac mail on my iphone and I was told to upgrade to carry on using services.

The next day I did this and assumed it would then send me all the emails I had not received that had been sent over the previous 24 hours when my icloud had stopped working. It did not however and I really am needing an important email ! What happened to these emails ? did they get returned to sender?!

Any help much appreciated !

I'm not entirely sure if the emails get bounced back to the send with an unable to be delivered error, but I do know that when your iCloud storage space is limited and/or runs out, those emails don't get delivered.

Outlined here - Mailbox size and message sending limits in iCloud - Apple Support under Your Storage space.

My suggestion would to be to ask the sender to resend the important email you were looking for/expecting if at all possible.
