9.7 ipad Pro kills our wifi

It will logon just fine and operate normally anywhere from a minute or two to 5-6 hours then it kills our wifi. 2 Kindle Fires and a laptop run fine without this problem. As soon as the ipad is turned off our internet comes back. We have tried a million different troubleshooting tips and nothing has worked. We have reset the router and reset the ipad to no avail. We switched to a different router with no luck then reset it and still have the problem. We reset the DNS to the Google DNS of 8.8.8.8. no dice. A brand new $600 device should work without all the hassles we have had. If it isn't resolved soon our next step is going to be to return it and use the refund for a tablet that works

That can happen when sometimes there is a process "stuck" on the iPad using data to try to achieve something

a stuck movie download in iTunes, an email that has a large attachment trying to send

You said you have reset the iPad - have you restored as NEW?
If not - Backup the device to iTunes - Restore as NEW (not from backup) - see if problem resolves - if yes - restore backup
