Hi there, I would like to backup my iPhone to my mac and then wipe the phone and then set up as new and then copy certain content to the phone, I don't want to restore entire content, is this possible?

That means your notes are being sync to your yahoo email account.
when you set up your phone as new, and then add your yahoo account make sure you have notes enabled.
Those notes should also be there when you log into your yahaoo account on a web browser.
I think I have just answered my own question, I am going to move the notes individually to cloud folder on phone and see if they then end up on mac
You can move the items from the yahoo folder to iCloud right on the phone, but what razmee209 is saying will work as well.
I apologise for taking up your time and thanks to you all for your patience and advice, I moved the notes to cloud folder on phone and they instantly appeared in notes app on mac, I just wanted a backup of them because they contained passwords and such, I thank you guys again for your help, cheers, Bill.
