When I use a PC to access a web site any site the browser takes me to it without any issues. If I should try the same thing on my Mac Mini 2012 the exact same site will give me a message of 403 Forbidden. No matter what browser I should use I get the same results. Why is this happening and is there a work around?
Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), Late Model 2012
On your Mac using Safari go to the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click: Remove All Website Data
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
If that doesn't help, you may have a Safari extension or third party plug-in installed that's causing a conflict. It's easy to troubleshoot.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. If there are any extensions installed, uninstall one at a time then quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
