What are you trying to "unsync"?
if you're looking to essentially reset the phone to factory settings like it was when it was new in the box, Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset All Content and Settings
Follow the prompts. If Find my iPhone is enabled, you will need to enter your iCloud password to remove it before the reset can occur. When it restarts, all of your data will be gone and it will no longer be associated to your iCloud account for any iCloud services. The only remaining piece of "information" at that point will be that the phone can still discover your cellular phone number during setup because the SIM is still inserted.

I have never signed into find my friends, and the app itself is turned off.
Ok... Not sure I understand how that's relevant.
You asked about resetting the phone an "un-syncing". Find my Friends is a location-sharing app on the device that, if you've never used it, has nothing to do with what you're trying to accomplish.
ok I was just making sure.
For reference, even if you HAD used the app, resetting the phone will discontinue any sort of info updating that would have been going on with it.
I believe there may have been some confusing with the OP and your mention of Find My iPhone. Seems it is possible they then referred to Find My Friends rather than Find My iPhone. Many people get confused between the two.
OK. Thank you.:)
Sorry I meant find my iPhone.

Good point, and it seems that was the case.
🙂
I just want to make it clear, I have never used find my iPhone or find my friends, and i'm not signed on to both.
Thank you for that update, but not having Find My iPhone activated on a device is not a good idea. Not only does this help you track your device in the case of loss or theft, it also activates the Activation Lock feature of the phone that prevents anyone that may find or steal the device from activating it after a restore. Without that on you leave your device vulnerable. Find My Friends is completely different, and is more of a social app.
Well the reason why I need to reset everything, is because she got it for me, but i plan on leaving soon and she won't let me keep It.
ok
