recently brought my first Iphone, the iphone se. everytime I connect to itunes on windows Vista it says that it wont work as it needs uptodate itunes . I have checked and it aays intunes is upto date

The iPhone SE needs iTunes 12.3.3 to be able to sync and unfortunately you would need Windows 7 or above to install it, sorry. It says it is up to date because it is for that particular version of Windows unfortunately. Please check on another computer if you would like to verify.

There is no way to resolve it without Windows 7 or later or Mac OS X 10.8.5 or later.
Hi Bailey, Lawrence answered your question and he is correct of course, not much you can do other than upgrade the computer. Windows Vista was released 10 years ago and IMO it is not unreasonable that it is no longer supported by iTunes.
No, for the SE you need 12.3.3. Other versions will not work.
