iphoto custom photo box resizing/and full custom design

how do I custom change a photo size on a i photo book page, and is there a full custom design option?

iMac, iOS 9.3.1

Yes, You can move an image frame in an iPhoto book layout with these key combinations:


To "adjust" photo frames and text boxes size with these key combinations which may do what you want:


Command + Option + ⬆ arrow: increase frame height (small increments).

Command + Option + ⬇ arrow: decrease frame height (small increments).

Command + Option + ➜ arrow: increase frame width (small increments).

Command + Option + ⬅ arrow: decrease frame width (small increments).


Shift + Command + Option + ⬆ arrow: increase frame height (large increments).

Shift + Command + Option + ⬇ arrow: decrease frame height (large increments).

Shift + Command + Option + ➜ arrow: increase frame width (large increments).

Shift + Command + Option + ⬅ arrow: decrease frame width (large increments).


To adjust its position on the page use these key combinations:


Command + Control + ➜ arrow: move frame or text box right (small increments).

Command + Control + ⬅ arrow: move frame or text box left (small increments).

Command + ⬆ arrow: move frame or text box up (small increments).

Command + ⬇ arrow: move frame or text box dow (small increments).


Shift + Command + ⬆ arrow: move frame or text box up (large increments).

Shift + Command + ⬇arrow: move frame or text box down (large increments).

Shift + Command + ➜ arrow: move frame or text box right (large increments).

Shift + Command + ⬅ arrow: move frame or text box left (large increments).


Command + Control + ⬆ arrow: rotate frame counter clockwise (small increments).

Command + Control + ⬇ arrow: rotate frame clockwise (small increments).

Shift +Command + Control + ⬆ arrow: rotate frame counter clockwise (large increments).

Shift +Command + Control + ⬇ arrow: rotate frame clockwise (large increments).


You can create the book in iPhoto, save the book as a PDF file and order the book from PrestoPhotos which can print and bind books from iPhoto PDF file.

To print your iPhoto books you could export the PDF preview of the book and have it printed by a different Print service.


Presto Photo can print iPhoto Books and Aperture books, see this User Tip: How to Print Aperture Books After the Print Services Have Been Discontinued
