iCloud - Mail Inbox not showing old messages

Inbox messages from 04/13/16 and older are not appearing in my iCloud Mail. Everything else is in order, except those messages. The messages have disappeared so I can't search for older inbox messages. I changed my Apple ID from an email domain to a gmail account because I stopped using the domain, does that affect in some way my inbox messages?

Where can I find those messages?

I do not think that it's software related since I have my devices synchronized and I am getting the same inbox messages in all. But if you need some info:

Macbook Air with OS El Capitan

iPhone 6s Plus

iPad 2

Try rebuilding the mailbox.

Rebuild mailbox

If that doesn't work, try re-indexing the mailboxes. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

Reindex messages For El Capitan, try looking in V3. Sierra use V4

Yes they are and if I do a search they will come up individually. However when I scroll down there are just a series of blank boxes where the messages should be. They show u without fail on my iAd and iPhone and sometimes restarting will cause them to reappear (but not all the time). This is recent behavior in the last month or so...
