Just purchased a Yamaha MX 49.

I have downloaded the latest yamaha midi driver... for Yosemite but.. Logic Pro does not recognize it

Is there something I am doing wrong? Is there a reason why I LOGIC does not read midi on through the usb port?

I checked UTILITIES>MIDI AUDIO SETUP> but is does not see the Synth,.. any ideas

Are you using this driver? It's brand new and listed as El Capitan supported, I see there's also an OS update for the MX 1.01 it's 3 years old but might be a good idea to check the keyboard and see if it's installed.

Install it with the Keyboard NOT plugged into the computer, install the driver, then reboot the computer, THEN plug the keyboard USB connector in.
