Mini S10 Bluetooth Speaker issue

I have a mini s10 bluetooth speaker that works awesomely with my iPhone and iPad.

When I attempt to use it with my macbook however, it doesn't work, The device connects via bluetooth but pairs as a wireless keyboard, not a speaker.

I have reset bluettoh, reinstalled my os and still no luck.

Anyone with a solution
