Mac Mail smart mailbox for sent messages

Hello,

I set up some Smart mailboxes for sent messages (with other filters). When viewing the Smart box listings, how can I change the list view to show the addressee (or TO WHOM) rather than FROM WHOM (which is always me)? I feel like I'm missing a basic setting here to change this.

Just to be clear, when viewing an Inbox list, the inbox lists always highlight FROM WHOM the email is coming from by default in the sort listing. The Sent box always highlights TO WHOM the email is going to by default. For a Smart mailbox, it always highlights FROM WHOM the email is coming from, even when filtering Sent messages only. If I am filtering only SENT messages, all the emails in the listing are highlighted as coming from me, of course. This is not a useful way to view my filtered Sent messages. Can this be changed so the Smart box listing highlights TO WHOM the message is being sent?

Apologies if I overlooked a simple setting to change this.

Hi, don't know if you've already sorted this out yet, but I had the same question today and I've got an answer that might be applicable to you...

I regularly send emails to a task manager... I wanted a smart mailbox that would file these separately to the normal sent folder, but there was no option to put in "sent" it was only ever "from" which was useless...

Attached is how to set up the smart mailbox to file only messages sent to the email address attached to my task manager...

Hope it helps....
