Remove hmining.mobi

Well, I still face the same problem even after doing all the steps mentionned before... if I make a search it still starts with whmining.mobi...and my mac's slower...

MalwareByes is about the most proven anti-malware software for Mac.

I wrote earlier that you should not use "anti-malware" software. It doesn't work, as you've just discovered for yourself.

Is Safari affected? Have you reset the home page in Chrome?

There's an issue I can't insert the picture,

but the folder LaunchAgents is empty

That's one of three folders I mentioned.

MalwareBytes is used by Apple Geniuses at Apple Store Genius Bars. It is also recommended by Apple Community Hosts here in the forums, as well as by Apple Telephone Support agents.

I already posted instructions for removing "Search Genius," which is what you have. It's item #5 in your second screenshot.

Did you disable profile synchronization and reset your search preferences in Chrome? Is Chrome still the only browser affected?

Chrome seems to be the only one still affected. I didn't disable the profile synchronizarion, as I didn't know about it.😕
