using my Apple Watch when horse riding counts horses steps as my own in Activity app

I have an Apple Watch which I love and wear all the time, however, I ride several horses a day totaling to over 2 hours on average.

I use my activity app to hit all my move, exercise and stand targets, but it frustrates me when I have to turn the watch off or take it off whilst I am in the saddle as it counts my horses steps as my own- therefore I am assuming my move target is not correct.

I wish apple would bring out a 'horse riding' workout in the workout app that doesn't count the horses steps but possibly only measures the riders heart rate (trust me it is hard work when exercising horses) and therefore giving an accurate reading of the calories burnt and exercise I have done - not my horses!

I am sure there are so many calories being burnt that aren't being recorded - please make a 'horse riding workout' for all the horse riders out there Apple!!!!
